The 50-40-90 Basketball Shooting Camp

Elite shooting mechanics. Real results. Private instruction with Richard Heriza.

Shooting 50% from 2-point range, 40% from 3-point range, and 90% from the free throw line is the gold standard in basketball — only nine players in NBA history have ever hit all three in a season. This camp teaches the mechanics behind that kind of consistency.

The Standard

The 50-40-90 Club

The 50-40-90 club is basketball's rarest shooting achievement: a full season shooting at least 50% from the field, 40% from three, and 90% from the line. It demands volume, efficiency, and mechanics that hold up under fatigue and pressure. In the entire history of the NBA, only nine players have done it.

If you watch any of these players, one thing is obvious — impeccable shooting mechanics. That consistency isn't luck. It's trainable.

Shooting Philosophy

No one is born a great shooter. But you can become one.

This camp teaches players proper shooting mechanics and the core principles that underpin great shooting. Just as importantly, players leave with a practice regime — a daily routine they can run on their own long after formal instruction ends.

Richard is known for clearly explaining the subtle nuances of shooting that many instructors gloss over — the details that separate a good shooter from a knock-down shooter. Shooting a basketball is both an art and a science, and true mastery is rarely achieved. That's exactly what makes becoming a great shooter so rewarding — and for many players, an all-consuming passion.
